It took only minutes before she caught herself in the act. Doing exactly what she'd promised herself not to do.
Quickly, she put the phone back in the drawer.
Even after years of self-help, she discovered how easy it was to turn away from what felt heavy and unknown.
Then she remembered what mattered:
The children.
The animals.
The forest.
The Earth.
The Sacred was under Threat.
...a passion ignited.
...a flame of knowing blazing in her heart.
She refused to let fear win.
Then she remembered yesterday's strange encounter. An elderly woman with long silver hair and light-gleaming eyes had stopped her in the square.
With determined steps, the old woman had approached, taken her hands, and with steady gaze said:
"Daughter from Heaven,
Sister from Earth,
When He raises his Sword
You shall remember
Who were there before Their Words"
Just hours ago, she'd thought the woman was crazy. But now, after the night's dream, she changed her mind quickly.
She had to find her.
With renewed fire, she leapt from bed, brushed her teeth, and threw on her denim jacket. As she reached into the pocket for her keys, she felt the sharp edge of a folded paper.
Her fingers trembled as she unfolded the paper.
She couldn't believe it...
